The first eyewear store, Les Binocles, was opened in 2007 when Martine Odile Tessier, optician, became the owner of the premises on Monk Boulevard. In May 2018, she opened a second eyewear store on St-Denis Street.

An optician for more than 25 years and a graduate of the Édouard-Montpetit CEGEP, Martine Odile is actively involved in her professional circle, notably by sitting on the board of directors of Regard Action, her purchasing group.

Les Binocles offers a multitude of services including: eyewear, contact lenses, eye exams and myopia control for children. Our on-site laboratories also allow us to respond quickly to our clients’ needs.

Our position within the buying group gives us access to a multitude of brands, which allows us to offer collections adapted to all tastes and budgets. Our customers benefit from a selection of more than 700 frames per branch, personalized service from our opticians and rigorous follow-up from our optometrists.

Our mission is to support local business by offering proximity services. This is why, in 2016, the Monk Boulevard eyewear store was equipped to be 100% accessible to people with reduced mobility.
